We have an exciting opportunity for an Internal Communications and Engagement Manager to join our team. You will play a pivotal role in leading the internal communication activity for a major transformation project for APHA.
The role involves a wide range of work including, but not limited to, the following:
Lead high‑quality, creative, and innovative communications for APHA’s core Transformation Programme (Delivering Sustainable Futures), supporting stakeholders and contributing to business objectives.
Ensure transformation communications align with the APHA internal communications strategy, working closely with the Head of Internal Communications and the wider team.
Advise, influence, and collaborate with key stakeholders across the programme and Agency, providing effective communication guidance and self‑serve solutions where appropriate.
Develop strategic communication and engagement plans with the Transformation Director, Programme Manager, workstream leads, and the Internal Communications team.
Represent internal communications at key meetings, including the Programme Board.
Use a diverse range of multimedia approaches to design and deliver creative, insight‑driven communication and engagement activities across the programme.
Monitor and evaluate communication effectiveness across all workstreams, sharing insights, successes, and learning to drive continuous improvement.
Manage and support APHA internal events in partnership with the Internal Communications team.
