The Role – Year 2 Teacher
We are seeking a passionate and committed Year 2 Teacher to join a supportive primary school in Islington from February 2026 on a full-time, long-term basis. You will take full responsibility for a Year 2 class, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that support pupils academically, socially, and emotionally.
You will be expected to plan, assess, and adapt learning to meet the needs of all pupils, working closely with the KS1 team and senior leaders to maintain high standards of teaching and learning. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum, excellent behaviour management skills, and a nurturing yet structured approach to learning.
