Summary
What skills and experience we're looking for
Clyst Vale prides itself on its Maths offer from year 7 to 11 and we are looking to appoint an exciting and innovative ECT to join us from September. This post is offered on a full time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will be able to teach across key KS3 & KS4.
This position is offered on the main teacher's pay scale MPS 1-6 with a starting salary of M1.
We are looking for:
- An outstanding ECT teacher with excellent subject knowledge;
- A practitioner who is keen to enthuse students using a variety of approaches;
- Experience of teaching Maths at GCSE is desirable;
- A willingness to contribute to the enrichment activities of the Department;
We are looking for applications from ECT’s and offer an excellent induction programme, in partnership with the South West Institute for Teaching, as well as a robust and impactful CPD offer for teachers at all stages of their career.
