Summary
Role Overview
We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Warehouse Operatives to join our Clients Home Returns team. This role involves processing returned small furniture items and household appliances, ensuring products are assessed, handled safely, and prepared for refurbishment, resale, or disposal.
Key Responsibilities- Receive and unload returned furniture and small appliances
- Inspect returned items to assess condition and identify faults or damage
- Record return details accurately using warehouse systems or paperwork
- Sort items for refurbishment, resale, recycling, or disposal
- Repackage products securely where required
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment
- Follow health and safety procedures, including manual handling guidelines
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet daily targets
- Previous warehouse or returns processing experience preferred (but not essential)
- Ability to carry out manual handling of small furniture and appliances
- Good attention to detail when inspecting returned items
- Basic computer or paperwork skills for recording stock movements
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
