Plus various Company BenefitsThe Priory Learning Trust is looking to recruit a Science Technician to work within our thriving science faculty at Worle Community School - An Academy in Weston-super-Mare. The successful candidate will work alongside fellow technicians to support class teachers with resourcing, equipment requirements, schemes of learning and relevant health and safety information. In doing so, they will ensure that all lessons are sufficiently resourced to enable high quality teaching and learning in a safe working environment. On a daily basis typical responsibilities will include the preparation, assembly and subsequent cleaning of technical materials, apparatus and equipment; their safe storage; and the disposal of used or waste products in accordance with school policies and procedures and, where appropriate, statutory regulations. You may often assist with wider aspects of the department to ensure that processes and changes run smoothly. This role will suit a candidate with a passion for science and supporting the teaching of students in order to achieve excellent outcomes. The successful candidate will have meticulous organisation with a detail-oriented approach.
