We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join Hereclive E-Act Academy. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with students, supporting their learning, confidence, and personal development. You will be part of a committed team making a real difference every day in a supportive and inclusive school environment.
Key responsibilities:
Support students’ learning in the classroom, individually and in small groups.
Work closely with teachers to deliver planned activities and interventions.
Support students with SEND, EAL, or additional learning needs.
Promote positive behaviour, engagement, and inclusion.
Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
Pay range: SCP5-7 - £20,372.48 - £21,025.47 - FTE: £25,583.00 - £26,403.00 - (33.5hrs/week) 39 weeks/year
Qualifications and Skills:
GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent).
Experience working with children or young people (desirable).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Patience, empathy, and a positive approach to supporting learners
