Summary
We are seeking a reliable, friendly and proactive Caretaker to join our welcoming and nurturing school community.

The Role
As Caretaker, you will be responsible for:
The day-to-day care, maintenance and security of the school site
Ensuring the school environment is clean, safe and well-presented
Carrying out minor repairs, routine checks and basic maintenance tasks
Supporting health and safety procedures across the school
Working positively with staff, pupils and visitors as a valued member of the school team
We are looking for someone who:Is practical, dependable and takes pride in their work
Enjoys being part of a friendly, supportive community
Has a positive, can-do attitude and good problem-solving skills
Is able to work independently while also being part of a team
Has experience in a caretaking, maintenance or similar role (desirable, but not essential)

You will be working every day in a school environment with interactions regularly with staff and children. Acting in a professional manner with high regard for safeguarding is essential to this role. The role will be paid on Surrey Pay Scale 5, which is £18,671 - £20,002 pa pro rata (£27,634 - £29,604 per annum FTE)Visits to the school are welcomed. Please contact the school office to arrange.
