Summary
We are looking to employ a reliable and responsible cleaner for a position in a local school in the Perry Street area in Billericay, Essex.
4.30pm to 6.45pmpm Monday to Friday during term time + 5 weeks closure cleans
£13.00 p/h = £600.84 monthly pay
The successful candidate will be someone who can take direction well and will be able to implement cleaning policies and procedures with minimal supervision. You will be responsible for cleaning of office and admin areas within the school, classrooms, toilets, and communal areas. Duties to include emptying of bins, polishing, mopping floors, hoovering, cleaning tables and chairs, toilet cleaning and any other associated duties as required. This position also requires locking up the site at the end of the shift. Prior experience as a cleaner is an advantage, but not necessary we're really looking for someone who is reliable, has a good attitude to work, whilst having fun at the same time and willing to learn as they go along, also someone who has good attention to detail and takes pride in their work!
Responsibilities:
Understand basic hygiene and sanitation requirements for cleaning specific areas. Carry out cleaning duties thoroughly and with care.
General WCs, Kitchens, offices, bins. General cleaning tasks, up to required standards.
Good communication skills are essential for health and safety reasons.
Full training in all aspects of cleaning will be given, and uniform provided.
The successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check the expense of which will be part shared by the employer.
