Summary

We’re looking for a part time (30hpw) Business Support Coordinator to join the team at Speke Hall.

What it's like to work here
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll be part of a friendly, dynamic team based at Speke Hall, as well as assisting colleagues at The Beatles’ Childhood Homes, The Hardmans’ House and Formby.

It’s an exciting time to join the team as we’re focused on growing our business and improving the services we offer our visitors and colleagues. Our places tell stories from the Tudor period right through to the Swinging Sixties and there’s never a dull day working here.

Our sites are busy and varied. Our friendly, outgoing teams are passionate about the work we do to conserve these special places and to share the stories with a wide range of visitors. We’re looking for someone to work with us who is enthusiastic, flexible, enjoys variety and a team player.

Whichever property you are based at and whatever role you play on site, standards of excellence in customer service and visitor engagement are essential. Some of our busiest days are at weekends and on Bank Holidays, so all staff are expected to take part in a regular weekend and Bank Holiday working as well as be part of the Duty Management rota for Speke Hall.

What you'll be doing
At the heart of everything we do on site is conservation and visitor experience, to look after these special places for ever, for everyone. Working as part of the property team, you’ll be the first point of contact for visitors contacting us by phone or online. You’ll also be responsible for accurate record keeping and data management, financial management including banking, and supporting the team with group bookings. You’ll be based at Speke Hall but also support the wider property group including the Beatles’ Childhood Homes, The Hardmans’ House and Formby.

You’ll promote the great work being done on site by gathering content for and sharing newsletters and upcoming event information in and around the local community, as well as across the site at various visitor touchpoints.

You’ll use your strong people skills to establish good working relationships with property colleagues, as well as providing a fantastic experience to visitors whether in person or via digital media.

This role supports a busy group of properties that welcomes over 1.6 million visitors every year. We’re looking for someone who’s highly organised, with great attention to detail.
