Summary
The role involves developing and maintaining high‑quality Power BI reports and dashboards, building reliable SQL‑based datasets, and supporting colleagues in accessing, interpreting, and applying data from Microsoft Dynamics and other core systems.
You will also contribute to improving data governance and data quality practices across the organisation.
About the role
Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that provide clear, actionable insight.
Work with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver effective solutions.
Produce KPI and performance reports with trend analysis and commentary.
Carry out ad‑hoc analysis to support decision‑making and continuous improvement.
Use SQL to extract and prepare data from Dynamics 365 and other systems.
Support data quality, data governance, and improvements to CRM processes.
Help colleagues interpret data, run basic training, and promote self‑service reporting.
Contribute to data migration, system enhancements, and new reporting layers.
What we are looking for:
We're looking for someone with the following knowledge.
Strong SQL skills and knowledge in preparing datasets for analysis.
Strong understanding in a data or BI role, ideally in the charity, public, education or youth sector.
Proven ability to build Power BI dashboards (or similar tools) including data modelling/DAX.
Knowledge with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar CRM systems.
Advanced Excel skills.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

**The geographical allowance is based on a member of staff having a home or office-based postcode within 30 miles (as the crow flies) from Charing Cross, WC2N 5HS. The allowance is 7% capped at £4,000 per annum.
