Summary
The Practice Nurse will be responsible for a number of clinical areas such as helping with infection prevention and control, health promotion, chronic disease management, health promotion, well women and well man clinics, as well as actively supporting the practice management team in the reviewing and delivery of clinical policy and procedure. The successful candidate will be able to: obtaining blood samples electrocardiograms(ECGs) minor and complex wound management including leg ulcers travel health advice and vaccinations child immunisations and advice family planning & womens health including cervical smears mens health screening sexual health services smoking cessation screening and helping patients to manage long term conditions Cervical screening
