What does this Care Assistant job involve?

Hours of Work:40 Hours Per Week - Shifts: 07:00 - 19:00 / 10:00 - 22:00 / 12:00 - 00:00 / 20:00 - 08:00

Personal care:

• Assisting with bathing, showering, and oral hygiene
• Helping with dressing and grooming
• Supporting with mobility and transfers

Household and domestic tasks:

• Preparing meals and snacks, and assisting with feeding
• Doing laundry and ironing
• Cleaning the home
• Grocery shopping and running errands

Health and wellbeing:

• Administering medication as per company policies
• Moving and Handling as per company policies
• Monitoring and reporting on the client's health and wellbeing
• Providing emotional support and companionship
• Helping clients stay active and engage in hobbies and social activities

Administration and planning:

• Following and documenting tasks based on a client's individual care plan
• Keeping records of completed tasks, observations, and medication
• Maintaining confidentiality
• Coordinating with other healthcare professionals
