Crynodeb

Two female PAs needed to work 2:1 with a very bubbly, loving little girl who has the most contagious smile & giggle.

She loves watching her tablet, cocomelon and ASMR. She loves spending time in her sensory playroom at home, lights and sensory toys. She loves water play, outdoor play, playing on her trampoline and going to the beach. She also loves her comforts, her dummy, bottle of milk & her weighted & normal blankets. Her family would like her to enjoy her hours with her PA'S and have lots and lots of fun.
She has a learning difficulty and other health issues. She struggles in busy environments outside her home and doesn’t have much confidence in indoor public environments that involve her having to mix with people she does not know.

The PAs will be required to help on family days out & taking her out on their own to build her confidence and get her involved in some fun activities. They are also hoping that she will gain confidence & a special bond with her PA's enabling mum & dad to have some respite time.

The family are also hoping the PAs can assist with hospital appointments. The PAs will need to provide personal care, including changing nappies, washing and bathing and getting dressed.

Applicants who hold a driving license and have access to their own vehicle would be preferred.

Important Information: There is a genuine occupational requirement for a Female worker, and therefore only applications from Females will be considered*. *Exempt under the Equality Act 2010 (schedule 9, Part 1).

Owing to the nature of this position, any offer of employment will be subject to a satisfactory checking report from the Disclosure and Barring Service, the cost of which will be met by the local authority.
