An exciting opportunity has arisen for a developmental post for Advanced Nurse Practitioner Band 7/8A, depending of experience, to join the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust Breast services (RFL). We are looking for an innovative and transformational leader, who is seeking to further their nursing career within breast services. The expectations of the post will be demonstrated across the four pillars of consultant level practice: expert advanced clinical practice, strategic and enabling leadership, learning, developing and improving across the system, research and innovation.
The role is pivotal to working collaboratively with the MDT team, in building capacity and expanding the nurse led services to further shape and deliver the strategic vision of a world class Breast Service for our local population.

The post holder will be an experienced practitioner, acting within their professional boundaries. The post holder will have the skills associated with history taking, physical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care as well as nurse prescribing. The post holder will use their knowledge and skills to provide expert, efficient and safe patient care whilst under supervision of a consultant. They will demonstrate clinical judgement and critical decision-making skills based upon evidence-based practice and will work collaboratively with consultants, Breast Nurses and the wider multidisciplinary team in order to meet the urgent care needs of patients.
