Summary

Are you someone who loves helping others and making a difference in your community?

We’re looking for a friendly and caring Passenger Assistant to join our team!

In this role, you’ll be supporting customers on their journeys to and from Care Centres or Special Schools, ensuring their safety and well-being every step of the way.



What You’ll Be Doing:

Helping passengers get on and off vehicles safely, including using tail-lifts and assisting with wheelchairs or other aids.
Providing a door-to-door service, helping customers from their homes to the vehicle.
Making sure passengers feel safe, comfortable, and cared for during their journey.
Following all safety procedures, like securing seat belts and wheelchair anchors.
Working closely with Care Officers, Teaching Staff, and Transport Supervisors to support passengers’ needs.
Assisting in emergencies by contacting parents, relatives, or emergency services when needed.

What We’re Looking For:

Great communication skills—you’re comfortable talking to people and making them feel at ease.
Experience working with people, especially those with disabilities or special needs (this is
a bonus, but not essential).
A passion for customer care and treating everyone fairly and equally.
A flexible and positive attitude towards work.
