Salary: £28,000 plus Veolia Benefits Package

Location: Battlefield Office, Shrewsbury, Shropshire. Travel will be required to other Veolia sites, typically in Shropshire and Staffordshire

Hours: 40 hours per week

Programme Duration: 2-year programme starting September 2026

Graduate Programme;



Our comprehensive Graduate Programme offers hands-on experience working on strategic projects while developing essential personal and professional skills. What you'll be doing;



Supporting the Contract Performance Manager in all aspects of their role. This includes working as part of the Contract Performance Team and dealing with Staffordshire County Council, Shropshire Council and Telford & Wrekin Council clients and their staff. Responsibilities include:

  • Support the production and submission of monthly and annual Contract reports to meet contract deadlines
  • Assist with contractual, legal, and financial dealings with council clients, including attendance at meetings
  • Help ensure waste management operations comply with all legal and contract requirements
  • Support the Contract Management team with health and safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance
  • Work with the Business Performance Analyst to identify improvements and implement business efficiencies
  • Provide contractual support across ERFs, Transfer Stations, and HRC businesses
  • Assist with waste flow management and client negotiations



What we're looking for;

  • Degree in a scientific or business-related discipline (to be achieved by September 2026)
  • Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Suite
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to travel to training locations and potentially (if in a rotational role) relocate for role requirements
  • Commitment to continuous learning and development
