We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Biology Teacher to deliver A Level Biology and Applied Science on a full time basis. This short term cover role requires someone who can confidently maintain high quality teaching and learning, ensuring continuity for students during staff absence.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver engaging and effective lessons in A Level Biology and Applied Science.
• Maintain student progress through strong subject knowledge and effective assessment.
• Collaborate with the Science department to ensure consistency and quality.
• Uphold safeguarding standards and comply with all college policies.
Requirements
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or FE teaching qualification (PGCE/PCET).
• Strong subject knowledge in Biology.
• Enhanced DBS (clear) – mandatory.
• Ability to start immediately.
• Reliable, professional, and able to integrate quickly into an established team.The establishment is committed to safeguarding, ensuring the safety and welfare of young people. Employment is subject to a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
