Summary
School Escorts 1hr per day, 3.15 - 4.15pm required
Drivers preferred as you will be required to work from any of our clubs based in Oakridge, Winklebury and Kempshott.
** You must be 17 years or above to be included in ratio**
Main duties:
Providing safe, creative, appropriate play opportunities.
Preparing and delivering activities.
Providing full care for the children, including: collecting children from school and bringing them safely to club.
Preparing a light tea.
Administering first aid as appropriate.
Close liaison with parents, schools and other childcare and play related agencies.
Following all policies and procedures.
To follow safeguarding procedures to the highest standard.
Essential criteria:
An understanding of good quality childcare and the ability to provide safe, creative play opportunities, communicate at all levels, meet children’s individual needs, use judgement and common sense and work effectively as part of a team
Desirable criteria:
A current first aid certificate
A current driving licence
Childcare qualification or a willingness to work towards an NVQ in Playwork
Please note that we have both walking and driving positions available, however younneed to be able to travel to each of the clubs as required.
Full training can be given to the suitable applicant, so experience, whilst desirable, is not essential.
