Summary

As an Enforcement Agent you will work as part of a team dealing with the enforcement of liability orders for Council Tax, Non-Domestic Rates and Business Improvement District Levy, and Car Parking Penalty Charge Notices (up to and including removal and sale of debtorsandrsquo; goods) in accordance with the Taking Control of Goods Regulations 2013.



In this role you will be part of a proactive, efficient and effective Enforcement Team and will visit debtorsandrsquo; premises (commercial and residential) with a view to collecting payment of unpaid debts. You will need to be assertive, confident, have excellent negotiation and communication skills and have the ability to be firm but fair in applying the law.andnbsp; You must be able to deal with difficult customers in a calm and courteous manner whilst recognising and assisting vulnerable customers.andnbsp;



You will be required to adopt a flexible approach to working hours as you will be required to work out of standard working hours, which may include weekends.



You will need to commit to achieving Enforcement Agent Certification if you donandrsquo;t already have it.andnbsp;This post is exempt from the rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore will be subject to a DBS check from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
