Responsibilities
Conduct thorough building inspections to ensure compliance with building regulations and standards.
Review and assess building plans, specifications, and other documentation during the approval process.
Advise clients and stakeholders on building standards and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve issues related to building compliance.
Prepare detailed reports on inspections, compliance checks, and any necessary enforcement actions.
Participate in the development and improvement of building control policies and procedures.
Represent the building control team in meetings, hearings, and discussions regarding building regulations and safety matters.
Requirements
Valid Class 3 Building Control Surveyor qualification with relevant industry experience.
Proven knowledge of building regulations, planning legislation, and safety standards.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective liaison with clients and stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple projects and workloads efficiently under tight deadlines.
Experience in conducting site inspections and preparing comprehensive reports.
Proficiency in using technical software and tools related to building control surveying.
Hours Per Week: 36.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Day: £318.96
