What skills and experience we're looking for
St Cuthbert's are currently seeking an Assistant Catering Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Trust at the beginning of a journey of transition, development, and growth within the multi-academy trust.
We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic assistant catering manager, responsible for the food production at St Cuthbert's. The role requires compliance with HACCP and COSHH regulations and a detailed understanding of food hygiene and safety standards. The post holder will be required to help create menus in line with the School Standards and suitable for children with a range of dietary, allergy and sensory needs. As well cooking on a daily basis the post holder will be required to complete paperwork in line with the role and ensure all staff are trained and line managed effectively.
The successful candidate will:
• Be responsible for food and beverage production.
• Have experience of training and supervision of staff
• Be able to communicate in a friendly and caring manner
• Ensure that HACCP and COSHH regulations are followed at all times
