The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly skilled Head of Art to lead our thriving Art department. This individual will inspire and challenge students to achieve their full creative potential through high-quality teaching, learning, and departmental leadership. They will be responsible for shaping the Art curriculum, supporting and developing staff, and contributing to the continued success of the department, while fostering a passion for creativity, visual literacy, and artistic expression across the school.
About You:
We are looking for an individual who:
• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has a strong academic background in Art or a related subject.
• Has high expectations for pupil achievement and behaviour.
• Is passionate about Art education and committed to continuous improvement.
• Demonstrates strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Is eager to contribute to the wider life of the school and trust.
