Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

St Josephs primary school are currently seeking a Catering assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Trust at the beginning of a journey of transition, development, and growth within the multi-academy trust.

The purpose of this role is to assist in the preparation of school meals, carry out kitchen housekeeping tasks including general cleaning duties, washing pots and putting deliveries away, serving children, preparing sandwiches and salads.

We are seeking:

A reliable and enthusiastic catering assistant for a busy primary school. The successful candidate will support the catering team in delivering high quality meals to our children. Ensuring cleanliness, efficiency and excellent customer care at all times.

You will be able to work as part of a team and understand the basics of food hygiene and safety. Previous experience in a catering environment is desirable but not essential.
