Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

As a part of Ealing’s strategy to ensure local SEND provision for its children, Grange Primary will be opening an SRP from September 2026. Initially, we will open two classes for 16 children primarily with a diagnosis of Speech, Language and Communication needs or Autism. This will rise in September 2027 to three classes, with a maximum of 35 children spread according to need across the classes. We are recruiting for our Lead Teacher, who will teach one of the classes in the SRP as well as having organisational responsibility for the daily running of the SRP and its classes (under the direction of our whole-school Inclusion Lead).

We need a Lead teacher from April 2026 to assist us in planning for the opening of the SRP; helping to recruit staff, planning the curriculum, setting timetables, and working with families to prepare them for joining. The successful candidate will have SEND teaching experience and an understanding of the practicalities of delivering excellent differentiated curricula to children with high levels of need in an SRP/ARP setting.
