The Priory Witham Academy is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Apprentice Pupil Support Assistant to join a school that makes a genuine difference to its students and supports its staff to achieve their individual goals. We are seeking to appoint an Apprentice Pupil Support Assistant to join our Primary team. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work in a high-quality environment with an experienced team of teachers and pupil support assistants enabling our pupils to achieve the best possible outcomes.The successful applicant will join our highly committed team in setting high standards and a clear focus for developing the best possible provision and practice.
Applicants should be flexible, show initiative and be able to work closely with our team of support staff; have excellent organisational skills, good discipline, a willingness to work with others and the ability to think ‘outside of the box’.
The successful applicant will work in our academy and have an allowance to undertake high-quality tuition and practical training with The Priory Trust Training, to complete a Level 3 Teaching Assistant NVQ. We are looking for a candidate with a genuine interest in a career in Teaching Support. The applicant will have achieved grade A*-C in both GCSE English and Maths or a willingness and competency to complete the equivalent in functional skills as part of the apprenticeship agreement.
