Summary
We’re looking for a skilled MIG Welder to join our busy fabrication team. You’ll be responsible for welding and assembling steel components for skip manufacturing, working to high standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform MIG welding on mild and structural steel as per specifications
• Fabricate and assemble parts for skips and related products
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions
• Maintain a neat, safe workspace and adhere to health and safety rules
• Inspect your own work and report any quality issues promptly
What We’re Looking For:
• Proven experience as a MIG Welder / Fabricator
• Ability to work to tight tolerances and standards
• Good understanding of welding safety practices
• Able to carry out repetitive work with a high attention to detail
• Team-orientated mindset with a strong work ethic
Permanent role
Monday–Friday,
08:00 – 16:30
(8-hour shifts)
£14.50 – £17.50 per hour (DOE)
