Are you an enthusiastic, dedicated and nurturing primary practitioner looking for your next opportunity? Our friendly and welcoming Primary School in Swindon is seeking a Year 2 Class Teacher to join our team on a full-time maternity cover contract, starting Easter 2026.
About the Role:
We are looking for an excellent classroom teacher who is passionate about learning and able to deliver high‑quality teaching across the curriculum. You will take on full class teacher responsibilities for our Year 2 cohort, including planning, assessment, classroom management and communication with parents and carers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, inclusive and well‑structured lessons in line with the Year 2 curriculum
- Take full responsibility for planning, teaching and assessing pupil progress
- Create a positive and supportive classroom environment where every child can thrive
- Work effectively as part of our committed Key Stage 1 team
- Build strong, professional relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
- Contribute to the wider life of the school and uphold our values
