Your new role
As a Quality Operations Inspector, you will support the inspection of in‑process manufactured products and finished goods, ensuring all activities are performed at the required inspection rate to meet the manufacturing schedule. You will carry out diligent inspections of products, review manufacturing documentation and examine environmental records, maintaining a consistently high level of accuracy and precision in both inspection detail and record auditing.You will manage and organise your own workload effectively while remaining flexible and responsive to stakeholders across the business. In this role, you will work independently on routine team tasks but will also participate in larger project forums when required, representing the team and contributing to key business improvement initiatives related to Quality Operations Inspection activities. You will work closely with value streams and cross‑functional colleagues, engaging in discussions about processes and products and supporting project improvements. This role is based on-site in Inverness. The working pattern is 7am to 7pm (days only) and on a 4 on- 4 off basis. This role is for an approximate duration of 6 months.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will bring strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and the ability to work confidently both independently and as part of wider project groups. Experience within a manufacturing or quality‑focused environment is highly advantageous, and you will be comfortable working within regulated procedures and compliance frameworks. Clear communication and the ability to build effective working relationships will be key to your success.
