We are seeking an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) SEN Teaching Assistant for an immediate start in Harrogate.

The Role: Shaping the Early Years

In this role, you will be the cornerstone of support for children aged 3-5 with Special Educational Needs. You'll be working within a classroom setting, focusing on sensory play, speech and language development, and basic social integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implementing EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan) targets through play-based learning.

• Supporting pupils with Autism, Global Developmental Delay, or physical disabilities.

• Assisting with personal care and mobility where required.

• Observing and recording progress to share with the SENCO and parents.

Essential Criteria

To maintain the high standards of our partner schools, all applicants:

• Must have recent and relevant UK experience in a school or nursery setting.

• Must possess an understanding of the EYFS Framework.

• Should be comfortable managing challenging behaviour with a calm, positive "can-do" attitude.
