Summary
The Best Connection are currently recruiting Regional Relief Class 2 (C) HGV Drivers on behalf of our client, a leading national builders' merchant, to cover sites across the North East including Blaydon, Blyth, Durham, Hartlepool, Middlesbrough and Newcastle.

This role forms part of the Regional Operations Support Team, providing driving cover across multiple branches to support holidays, sickness, and peak trading periods.
Duties will include:
- Delivery of building materials to local customers
- Loading and unloading vehicles using a HIAB
- Ensuring loads are safe, secure, and legally compliant
- Completing approximately 14 deliveries per day
- Maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach at all times
- Monday to Friday
- Sociable daytime hours
- No weekends
- £32,000 per annum (based on a 40-hour week - £15.38 per hour)

- HIAB experience preferred but not essential - training will be provided
