Your Role

We are looking for an Experienced Social Worker to join our Adult Social Care team.

You will use your extensive experience in statutory social work and knowledge of the Care Act in particular section 42, to demonstrate professional knowledge and good practice in situations of high complexity, especially where an adult has been identified as being harmed due to abuse or neglect. You will undertake S42 enquiries, keeping making safeguarding personal at the centre of the enquiry. You will work in partnership with others. You will complete enquiry reports and ask others to make enquiries on behalf of the Local Authority.

About You

  • Are you an experienced Social Worker, passionate about safeguarding adults at risk?
  • Are you interested in working in partnership with adults to manage risk and develop protection plans to prevent harm occurring? Will you keep the person at the centre of all decisions?
  • Do you have an enquiring mind, an ability to link information and understand patterns of behaviour to inform your practice and understanding of abuse in all its forms?
