Summary
Search Consultancy is recruiting an experienced Stores Person, Counterbalance Forklift Truck Driver to join a well‑established and growing client based in Gartcosh. This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity offering long-term stability, great team culture, and the chance to develop your skills within a busy operation.
What you'll be doing:- Operating Counterbalance forklifts to safely load, unload and move materials
- Transporting goods across the warehouse or production facility
- Stacking and organising stock to maintain an efficient workflow
- Carrying out basic forklift checks and reporting any issues
- Following all health & safety procedures to keep the workplace safe
- Supporting with inventory tasks by accurately recording stock movements
- Assisting the wider team with general warehouse duties as required
- A valid Counterbalance forklift licence
- Proven experience in a warehouse or production environment
- Solid understanding of safe forklift operation
- Good ability to read work orders, safety guidelines and instructions
- Strong spatial awareness and confidence operating in tight spaces
- Good levels of physical fitness and stamina
- A positive communicator and a reliable team player
