Summary
The post holder will support the Ward Manager in all aspects of Ward/ Department management and have a key role in co-ordinating and developing the nursing team ensuring that patients receive the required standard of care. The post holder will support the Ward Manager/ Team Leader in ensuring all staff comply with Trust policies/ procedures and professional and legal standards. The post holder will coordinate patient flow through Medical SDEC from all referral routes. Please see job description & person specification. If successful this vacancy will require an enhanced DBS check at a cost of £54.90. This cost will be deducted from your first Trust salary In addition to this it will be a condition of your employment that you will join the DBS update service and pay the annual subscription fee of £16.
