Summary
Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Wraparound Care Assistant to support children attending our Breakfast and Afterschool Clubs. The role involves working with children aged 4–11 years in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment.
Key Duties
Safely drop off and collect children to and from the local primary school (located just a one-minute walk away)
Prepare and serve breakfast for children attending Breakfast Club
Prepare snacks for Afterschool Club
Set up daily activities to encourage play, creativity, and social interaction
Engage with children in play and support them as needed
Help with cleaning, tidying, and resetting the environment at the end of each session
Requirements
Ideally, experience working with children aged 4–11 years
Good spoken English
A kind, caring, and nurturing nature
Ability to commit to shifts between 8:00am–1:00pm or 11:30am–6:00pm (this role does not involve split shifts) Term time only.
