Summary

Radis Community Care has an opportunity for a Senior Support Worker/ Team Leader to join our Supported Living service in Bradford and Huddersfield

As a Team Leader you will provide support in our Supported Living Services in Bradford and Huddersfield, providing specialised person centred support. Radis recognises each person as an individual and provides a unique service which is tailored to their specific needs and provides a consistent approach throughout their life.

You will work alongside the Managers of our Supported Living Services - overseeing the smooth running of these services, completing regular audits, checks, supervisions, spot checks, updating and reviewing support plans and working to ensure that individuals achieve their outcomes.

The role will require you to schedule / allocate work to the Support Workers, support with medication, personal care tasks and covering shifts within the services.

The hours are split between care hours and office hours, including alternate weekends. Office hours are based in our office in Bradford, and a driver is required with use of their own vehicle.

Skills and Qualifications required for the role

Previous experience working with individuals with learning disabilities, autism and mental health issues.

Previous experience as a Team Leader is essential. The successful candidate will have an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care working towards Level 3. You will have good written and verbal communication skills and have a willingness to learn in line with clients needs and expectations.

Drivers required due to localities.
