Hours:
2 permanent vacancies - 21.79 annualised hours per week and 19.40 annualised hours per week. A seasonal rota working across sites, part-time, permanent.
2 seasonal fixed term vacancies - from March 2026 – 31st October 2026, 33 hours and 32.5 hours. A two-week rota working across sites.
In this role you will be the vital point of contact for visitors and provide a high standard of customer care, ensuring visitors are able to enjoy and learn from their experience at the museum.
You will have strong interpersonal skills, and you will have experience of working with the public in a customer service environment, either in a paid or voluntary capacity, be literate and numerate and ideally have experience of cash handling and financial administration.
You will be required to be a key holder for the service, which on occasion might result in responding to “out of hours “call-outs”. You will also have practical cleaning and general maintenance skills and be aware of the importance of Health & Safety issues.
