Role: HGV Class 2 Driver – permanent
Location: Swanley
Hours: 6am start – 45 hours per week
Pay: £35,000 per annum
Extrastaff are currently recruiting an HGV Class 2 Driver, working for the UK’s largest independent multi-metals stockholder.
Benefits for HGV Class 2 Driver:
• Straight permanent from day 1
• Monday to Friday – no weekends
• Vehicle pre-loaded
• Working for the UK’s largest independent multi-metals stockholder.
• Newly passed driver’s accepted
HGV Class 2 Driver Duties:
• Multi-drop deliveries of metal products
• 10 to 12 drops per day max, up to 2 runs
• Use of scanning devices & completion of paperwork
• Use of ratchet straps to secure load
• Carrying out vehicle check on a daily basis
• No manual handling - offloaded by customer forklift
Requirements for HGV Class 2 Driver:
• HGV Class 2 licence (C category) - max 6 points on licence
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
• Good customer service skills
• Reliability
• Good communication skills
