We’re seeking a passionate and motivated Kitchen Manager to inspire our kitchen team and elevate the Pavilion’s food offering. If

Your Role as Kitchen Manager
* Lead Kitchen Operations: Oversee all aspects of kitchen performance, food production, and equipment upkeep. Uphold rigorous
food safety and hygiene standards and manage stock, ordering, waste, and cleaning schedules.
* Inspire Your Team: Train, support, and motivate kitchen colleagues to deliver their best. Foster a positive, collaborative, and
inclusive workplace culture. Take responsibility for performance management, team communication, and succession planning.
* Drive Commercial Success: Implement cost controls to manage food and staffing budgets. Review financial reports to maximise
profitability. Oversee purchasing, menu planning, supplier engagement, and profit margins.
* Champion Innovation: Work with the Group Head Chef on menus, recipes, and presentation. Bring fresh ideas for new products,
services, and promotions, and build connections with local suppliers and businesses.
What We’re Looking For
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in a senior chef position.
* Proven ability to manage a high-volume kitchen or large-scale events.
* Level 3 Food Hygiene certificate and accredited Health & Safety training.
* Sound knowledge of ingredients, food presentation, and kitchen operations.
* Ability to create menus that are both innovative and commercially sound.
* Strong commercial awareness in the hospitality sector.
* Desirable: IOSH qualification, hospitality or food-related NVQ/diploma/degree, experience with multiple branded menus or
service styles, advanced IT skills (Excel/Microsoft Office), and community involvement or volunteering.
