Hours: 37 – Full Time



This advert is open to both Internal and External applicants.



This is a Fixed Term post for 6 months.



These are exciting times for Stoke-on-Trent - and the city council.



Whether its new businesses and homes or new bus routes and integrated travel -things are moving in Stoke-on-Trent.



Here at the council we are moving to a new model of delivery, working closely with partners to build a city that is healthier, wealthier, fairer, safer, greener, cleaner, and more skilled.



And the way we communicate is changing, too.



We’re looking for a first-rate storyteller with a demonstrability ability to understand our audiences and find the right channels, and messages, to reach them.



You will be as comfortable crafting digital communications as you are a press release.



You will understand the important of stakeholder relations and how to work together to ensure maximum reach and impact.



You will be brimming with ideas, with a proactive attitude towards communications and campaigns.



Above all, you will be passionate about working in partnership - with the communications team, wider council colleagues, and partners across the city and county – to connect with all our communitiesas we tell Stoke-on-Trent’s story to them, and the wider world.
