Summary


An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Information Management Department at North Tees & Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust for an Information Developer. We are looking for someone with enthusiasm and motivation to join our well established Information Management Team.

As an Information Developer you will be required to have a flexible and adaptable approach to work and assist with the development of solutions to replace the Information Management Teams current data processing processes whilst ensuring that the data outputted meets the statutory reporting requirements of the departments internal and external stakeholders. In addition, you will be required to support the Information Management Team with their daily/weekly/monthly tasks, troubleshooting any issues associated with these tasks.



As an Information Developer you will be required to assist with the development and maintenance of the various data warehouses and reporting services used by the Information Management Team and the wider organisation, ensuring that all outputs meet the statutory reporting requirements of the Department of Health and Social Care.

In addition you will be required to interrogate large volumes of highly complex data, using a variety of statistical and analytical methods, ensuring that the analysis derived incorporates the appropriate benchmarking information used to inform the management decision making process.

As an Information Developer your main responsibilities include:-

To assist in the ongoing development of the data sets held in the Trust Electronic Data Warehouses and other Data Management Systems.

To assist in the ongoing availability, quality and expansion of the various data sets held in the Trust Electronic Data Warehouses and other Data Management Systems.

To assist in the continued development and enhancement of the Trusts' information systems.

To assist in the identification of any new data management requirements and contribute to the provision of technical solutions to meet these requirements, working with other members of the Information Management Team and external software suppliers where appropriate.

To assist in the development of more efficient technical methods of producing routine reporting, analysis, and intelligence requirements within the Information Management Department.

To assist in the development of clinical dashboards, utilising new technologies and presentational formats to deliver information to end-users.

To support the Information Management function by the maintenance and ongoing support of a variety of information tools and databases.

Assist the Senior Information Developers in creating SSIS packages, SSRS reports and bespoke SQL queries as required.

Take responsibility for producing high quality information to support key business processes.

Provide support in the interpretation and understanding of information.

Contribute as and when required in all areas of work and projects with the Information Management Team and the Development Team.

To assist in the production of reports and processes that identify data quality issues relating to the Trusts National Data Sets.

To work independently using initiative with regards to workload, ensuring all statutory deadlines are met and prioritising responses to information requests in an efficient and effective manner.

Complying with Trust and NHS protocols and guidelines and referring issues to your line manager for advice when appropriate.

To attend various meeting and provide robust information to assist in the decision making process.

To provide data to the Trusts various stakeholders to assist in the planning and delivery of patient care.
