We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic candidate to join our Babies, Children's, & Young People's Division in the position of Community Operations Lead - Child & Young People's Therapies and this role is offered on a permanent basis working 37.5 hours per week, with working patterns to be agreed upon appointment.

This post will be primarily based at our St. Michael's Community Hospital providing leadership support to the Children's Community functionalities, but will be required to provide support to our North Middlesex, Barnet & Chase Farm, & Royal Free Health Units on occasion.

This post has responsibility for the management and clinical leadership of the children’s Therapy services comprising Speech and Language -Occupational Therapy-Physiotherapy-Dietetics within Enfield Community Services (Child Development Service -Family Hubs -pre-school, schools special and mainstream schools).

The postholder will provide day to day leadership and management of the service, which involves ensuring effective deployment of staff and resources to meet demands of service users and ensuring response times meet locally agreed guidelines and contractual obligations. The postholder will implement systems and processes to ensure that these services are delivered in accordance with Trust-wide policies and national/local targets.

The postholder will be responsible for delivering the Therapies service to the London Borough of Enfield based on the SLAs, providing performance data and any other information required to support the compliance of monthly and quarterly KPI’s.

The postholder will assume delegated responsibility for delivering clinical governance, service review and development including setting priorities for this area of service and monitoring clinical risk including learning from incidents.

The postholder will be responsible for recruitment and selection of Allied Health Professionals including skill mix initiatives and be accountable for management of staff, their supervision, appraisal, development, disciplinary and grievance procedures.

North Mid is part of North Central London integrated care system – consisting of the NHS and Local authority organisations in Camden, Islington, Barnet, Enfield and Haringey. As with other ICS’s, we are working increasingly closely with partners and indeed many of our financial and performance objectives are measured at this system level. Whilst all organisations remain as standalone, statutory bodies we have an ICS infrastructure for making shared decisions and agreeing shared approaches.
