It's an exciting time at Sense as our team is expanding! We now have a fantastic opportunity for a Community Support Worker to join our team in Leamington Spa. Our Get Out There (GOT) Service supports children and young people with their social programme of activities.

This will be a Permanent role, working 4 hours per week. Your shifts will be likely to be in the evenings or weekends and this will be discussed further at interview stage. A full UK driving license and must be willing/able to drive your own vehicle is essential.

As a Community Support Worker, you will be providing 1-1 support to a Child who is non-verbal, short-sighted and profoundly deaf to access the community. Supporting with sensory activities both at home and in the community. Experience of using British Sign Language (BSL) or having a BSL or Makaton qualification is desirable (or willingness to learn).

You will support and take part doing activities they enjoy such as going for a walk, going swimming or playing with beads.
