Summary

About the role:
To work under the direction of the Deputy Manager Registered services for Reablement, Domiciliary Care Services, services on a locality level.
To support reablement and care support workers to promote wellbeing, early intervention, and prevention to deliver outcomes focused care and support through strength-based personal plans.
To schedule a team of Reablement and Care Support Workers area, ensuring the smooth delivery of care, intervention supporting the individuals who use the service, the assessors and frontline support staff.

• Good communication skills both written and orally including the ability to communicate with individuals, carers, partners organisations and other professionals.
• Use initiative, make decisions, problem solve and seek advice /guidance when needed.
• Ability to match staff to service requirements and situations.
• Ability to manage conflict.
• Ability to manage risks in scheduling the staff.

What you will do:
1. To support the managers to deliver a 7-day service week ensuring compliance within the budgeted hours and to organise, manage and monitor rotas.
2. To take responsibility for administration of the Electronic Rostering, ensuring all individuals who use the service are never left without care and support.
3. To create new packages of care and support to ensure all service users /staff members documentation is current on the system, maintain risk RAG rating register, organise cover for sickness, training, annual leave, and emergencies.
4. To undertake risk assessments, staff observations in delivering person centred outcomes, positive risk taking and quality of service delivery.
5. To work alongside managers and team leaders where staff are working with individuals including those which are complex and demanding, accessing the professional support available and escalating to managers.
6. To communicate with the team, professionals both within and outside the organisation. Including other statutory and third sector bodies to facilitate best outcomes for people with the allocation of staff resources for care and support.

This position has a requirement for an Enhanced DBS Check
