Summary
Blackpool and The Fylde College (B&FC) is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Trainer in the Construction Department, with a specific focus on Electrical Installations. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of aspiring electricians by delivering both practical and theoretical training to students.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
As a key member of the Construction team, your primary responsibility is to deliver high-quality and effective training. Specific duties will include:
Delivering practical and theoretical training in Electrical Installations to apprenticeship and FE students.
Conducting apprentice progress reviews with students and employers, ensuring effective tracking of Individual Learning Plans (ILPs).
Assessing student work and providing constructive feedback.
Collaborating with colleagues to support student progress across all programme areas.
Using college systems to monitor student success.
Promoting Health and Safety awareness and ensuring safe practices are followed.
