As a Senior Commercial Advisor, you will be delivering the best possible commercial outcomes for the TRA. The postholder will be responsible for elements of the end-to-end aspects of the procurement process from market engagement and sourcing through to contract management.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a range of commercial projects.
- Proactive engagement across key elements of the end-to-end commercial lifecycle, inclusive of pre-market engagement, sourcing and contract award.
- Maintaining a procurement pipeline to support the need for commercial engagements to start in good time, ensuring that the full range of commercial options can be considered.
- Help to assess and develop requirements to inform sourcing strategy to encourage strong competition and help secure best value for money.
- Complying fully with public procurement law, TRA commercial procedures, policy, and governance assurance processes.
- Utilise Information Technology tools effectively to manage and track procurement activities.
- Proactively lead, support and challenge stakeholders throughout the commercial lifecycle.
- Understand the TRA's goals and objectives to inform and deliver the commercial strategy.
