Are you passionate about making a difference for young people who need consistent support and encouragement? Hays Education is recruiting Behaviour Mentors in Northampton to work with pupils who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs across local primary and secondary settings.

‍ Your RoleAs a Behaviour Mentor in Northampton, you will:

  • Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils who need routine and reassurance
  • Support students with emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams
  • Help pupils develop confidence, independence, and resilience in and out of the classroom

✔️ What We're Looking For

  • At least 1 year's experience supporting children or young people with SEMH or challenging behaviour
  • Experience from backgrounds such as sports coaching, youth work, social care, early years, mentoring, or education support
  • A calm, patient, and resilient approach, with a genuine passion for helping young people succeed
