Summary
Junior Project Engineer - £40-45k
Retford DN22 (near Worksop, S80)
This is a hybrid role for a junior project engineer to support the delivery of bespoke mechanical and engineering projects and installations across the UK. Working closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
Junior Project Engineer; duties and responsibilities
Supporting the planning and delivery of projects, helping to ensure operational and budgetary targets are met.
Assisting in creating project plans, tracking, and reporting on progress.
Supporting the project teams and contributing to a positive, collaborative working environment.
Helping to identify and manage risks, ensuring Health & Safety compliance.
Assisting with project reporting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
Traveling to sites and client meetings across the UK with occasional travel in Europe.

Have strong communication and organisational skills.
Have the ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
Be interested in engineering or mechanical projects.
Some experience in project support or coordination (e.g. site visits, reporting, stakeholder liaison).
Flexibility to travel across the UK (full UK driving licence required).
Basic understanding of project management principles (e.g. PRINCE2).
