Summary

Are you an SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next role in Selly Oak?

Winner Education are working with a secondary school in Selly Oak who are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to start immediately. This is a long-term role, supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs, providing classroom and pastoral support.

What You’ll Do:

• Support pupils with SEN on a 1:1 and small group basis

  
  

• Assist with classroom learning activities and lesson engagement

  
  

• Support pupils with individual learning plans

  
  

• Encourage positive behaviour and inclusion

  
  

• Support pupils during breaks, lunch, and transitions

  
  

• Work closely with teachers and support staff

  
  

• Help maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment

  
  What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience supporting pupils with SEN

    
    

  • Patient, reliable, and able to build positive relationships

    
    

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

    
    

  • Flexible and adaptable to pupils’ needs

    
    

  • Secondary school experience is desirable but not essential
