Your Responsibilities:
Personal care (washing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
Medication support
Meal preparation and feeding assistance
Mobility support and safe transfers
Light housekeeping
Companionship and emotional support
Accurate record keeping using our digital systems
Occasional driving to appointments or outings
What We’re Looking For:
Caring, patient and reliable
Good communication and English skills
Able to deliver personal care with dignity and respect
Willing to learn (full training provided)
Requirements:
Previous experience in assisted living, nursing homes, home care, or hospice care is highly desirable but not essential
Knowledge of Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, and behaviour management techniques
Valid driving licence for transportation duties
Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred but not essential; willingness to undertake training is required
Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with clients of all ages, including children and seniors
Physical capability for heavy lifting and assisting with mobility support
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a caring environment
Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve clients’ quality of life
