Summary
Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – FM Service Provider - Commercial Building – Moorgate, London - £42,500 per annum
CBW Staffing Solutions is currently looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to be based in a prestigious commercial building, located in Moorgate, London. This building offers a modern, high-end class A office space, approximately 175,000 sq ft of area spread across a total of 9 floors and all within walking distance to major transport hubs, including Barbican Station, Canon Street Station and Bank Station, all within a 12-minute walk from the commercial building. You will be required to carry out mechanical maintenance across areas of the commercial building, all while working within a maintenance team. The successful candidate will be mechanically qualified (C&G / NVQ), with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. In return, the company offers a competitive salary of £42,500, plenty of overtime available, further training and further career progression.
Hours of work:
- Monday to Friday – 07:00 am to 16:00 pm / 09:00 am to 18:00 pm
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Monitor mechanical plant
- Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings
- Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Units (Filter changes, cleaning)
- Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
- Plumbing - Unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers etc
- Monitor the BMS systems.
- Basic electrical duties (Lamp changes etc)
- General building fabric
- Escort specialist subcontractors

Requirements:
- Mechanically qualified - City & Guilds Level 2 (Essential)
- Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
